It's only within the last six months that traffic began to use the new A6 bridge and the cutting beneath it could be fully excavated. For that reason, work here is not yet very far advanced, with heavy plant still on site grading the road bed.

It was specially designed never to be noticed. And now it's disappearing, nobody has noticed its absence. It's London's own bespoke street light.
