Progress on the bridge deck at Tramway Lane can be seen here. On the right, foundations have been built for a small retaining wall around the base of the electricity pylon, to prevent the embankment encroaching on it. Moving pylons and high tension cables is expensive, so in marginal cases like this it's usually easier to just build around them.
