A6 overbridge, view north (see all photos of the same view)

Foundations have been built for the bridge that will carry the A6 over the motorway. Running between the bridge site and the diverted road, some piping can be seen supported by temporary piling in the midst of the excavation work. The utilities that ran under the M6 will be transferred onto the bridge once it's built, but until then continue to follow the course of the old road.
