M6 interchange and Cuerden footbridge, view north (see all photos of the same view)

Under the new Cuerden footbridge, a surface has been laid on the beginning of two sliproads leading towards the junction. Like the link road to the terminal roundabout, these slips will need to be finished ahead of the rest of the junction so they can carry traffic diverted around the A6 interchange beyond.
