Stanworth rock cutting, view east (see all photos of the same view)

The rock cutting at Stanworth has now reached its full depth, though heavy plant is still on site, seemingly constructing the new road bed. In the distance, in contract 2, the viaduct across Stanworth Valley doesn't yet have all its deck in place - construction work there will have to be fast paced, as the motorway is just over a year from opening.
