At the bottom of the picture, steelwork has arrived for Sandy Lane bridge, though the supports for it are not yet complete. In the middle of the picture Hill House Farm bridge also has bridge spans in place, and the road is graded and levelled for most of the way to the M61.

Hogarth Flyover
It makes the traffic situation in one part of West London much more bearable but it should have been removed more than quarter of a century ago. It's amazing what you can do with a big Meccano kit.
