M6 interchange, view east (see all photos of the same view)

The viaduct crossing the M6 is the main feature of this picture. Deck sections are in place over the M6 itself but not elsewhere - presumably these were lifted in during a closure of the motorway, while other parts of the viaduct can be worked on at any time. A section of the roundabout on the right is well under way, ahead of works on the rest of the junction, because that isolated part is needed very shortly to carry diverted traffic around works elsewhere.

What's new

Hello, here's my ridiculous side project

An introduction to what I write, and why I write it, and where my strange new road sign simulator fits in to all this.

London, in a new light

It was specially designed never to be noticed. And now it's disappearing, nobody has noticed its absence. It's London's own bespoke street light.

The Ringways Map is here

The wait is over! The full map of the Ringways, London’s unbuilt urban motorway network, is now online. Not even the system's planners had anything like this.

Junction Three

The M621 has one junction where everything leaves the motorway and heads for the city, and a very bizarre junction it is too.
