Terminal roundabout, view north (see all photos of the same view)

In the space of three months the terminal roundabout has now been effectively completed and even has some white lines in place. The M65 will not open for almost another two years, but the roundabout and first section of motorway will be used as a diversion for traffic between the A6 and the M6 south while the A6 interchange is reconstructed.

What's new

An introduction to what I write, and why I write it, and where my strange new road sign simulator fits in to all this.

London, in a new light

The Ringways Map is here

The wait is over! The full map of the Ringways, London’s unbuilt urban motorway network, is now online. Not even the system's planners had anything like this.
