Bamber Bridge roundabout, view south (see all photos of the same view)

Bamber Bridge roundabout, connecting the A6 and A582, is still in its original configuration. Part of the new enlarged circulatory carriageway has been laid out, and beyond it in the distance, land has been fenced off and topsoil removed for the future link road and terminal roundabout for the motorway.

Scammonden Bridge

If you've ever been on the M62 across the Pennines, you'll know the one. It's the huge arched bridge 120ft above the road. And this is what it's like when you're standing on top of it!
