At Stanworth rock cutting, some work vehicles are still on site, though nothing is obviously unfinished. The join between contracts 1 and 2 is now seamless; in the distance, Stanworth Viaduct is complete and a third climbing lane begins as the motorway starts climbing towards Tockholes.
