A47 Corridor Improvement

The A47 runs from Birmingham to Lowestoft via Nuneaton, Peterborough and Norwich, but the "A47 corridor" to which Highways England refer is the trunk road from Peterborough to Lowestoft. In 2017 a £300m package of improvements was announced for the route, with a mix of road widening and junction improvement schemes. The work is due to take place from 2020.
