Realignment of the existing road at Berriedale Braes to eliminate a notorious hairpin bend.

The road contract notice, which outlines construction costs of approximately £9 million, invites prospective bidders to formally apply to participate in the procurement to construct major improvements to this important route in the north of Scotland.
RJ MacLeod Ltd has won a £9.6m contract for this scheme, and work will commence later this year.
Work started earlier this month, and is due to finish in January 2020.
