Scheme outline
Widening of the current single carriageway to dual two-lane all purpose standard just to the south of the existing road. This would have the effect of linking the Blofield and Acle dual carriageway bypasses to form a continuous route.
This scheme was withdrawn in July 2009 in a review of spending priorities. It was then re-instated in the 2014 Autumn Statement as a scheme which would be progressed before the end of the next Parliament in 2020.
